Speaking to the reporters, higher education minister and DCM Ashwathanarayana said, "After discussion with CM Yediyurappa, the government has decided to start the graduation colleges on November 17. Students are given the option of either attending the classes or studying online. However, if the students want to attend classes in college, they need to bring the permission letter from their parents.

"According to UGC guidelines, there was an opportunity to open colleges offline in November. Task force will be formed under the presidentship of respective deputy commissioners. In addition, task forces will be formed in every school also. On November 17, LMS online portal will also get inaugurated. It is always better to give the option to parents & students, they know what is good for their kids.
Relax stringent rules inside the colleges as they have better immune system than adults or chronic patients as proven in Sweden & other countries where no lock down or shutting down of any schools took place all these months.
Those kids who have compromised immune system due to any illness should be given the option to study at home if at all that is feasible.

Why not second puc classes??I think it's more important to start 2nd puc offline classes. It's very difficult for these kids to follow online classes . They could be divided batchwise. With all precautionary maeasures of course.
