Udupi: Distraught youth starts begging after watching movie, locals send him back home

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Nov 16: Social workers Vishu Shetty Ambalpady and Tharanath Mestha rescued a youth who was begging on the streets near Sri Krishna Math in the city.

The youth is a graduate of Chitradurga origin. He was distraught as he did not land any job after his studies. He saw a movie and thought that his difficulties will get resolved. That is why he left home and was wandering in different areas and making a living by begging.

Vishu Shetty spoke to the youth and made him understand that by begging the issues will not be resolved. He got him admitted to the hospital and later sent him home.

Vishu Shetty took the address of his parents from the youth and called them. His family members did not even celebrate Deepavali this year as the youth has left home without informing them.

The family members were elated to know the whereabouts of their son. They said that for them this Deepavali is the best one as they have got their son back. They lauded the help of the two social workers of the city who helped them to get back their son.

Many movies, especially in India, make us cry, make us laugh, and also make us feel emotional. Movies teach us many good lessons of life. Many movies in India make us feel humbled. All said and done, ultimately the final decision and influence from the movies rest within us. We do not have to be beggars, nor do we have to be poor. Movies teach us lots of good lessons, but these good lessons cannot take us back in life. These movies should provide us good influences in life. We have to try and motivate ourselves to be better in our future life. The faith of Hinduism prompts us to remain humble in life, but humility should not drag us on the street and teach us to be beggars. Let the young men and women learn the beauty of hard work, and let them contribute their strength and wisdom to improve others in their daily livelihood in life. We must try and help those beggars from the streets the beauty of hard work, and help them to follow the pathway of willingness to help many others to progress in life.

If you come to a film theatre in Udupi, it will always be over crowded with north Kannadigas. They chew paan & spit everywhere, gets drunk in the evening & make the hell out of it.

The present situation is no jobs, no food etc..... people are worried but some people enjoy by cracking fire works and sweets. In my colony people spent 98000 for diwali celebrations. So much fireworks in udupi. Even restriction is there but our government officials also enjoying with their families without implementing government rules.
