Mangaluru, Nov 23: ‘Moms of Mangalore’ on November 15 hosted ‘Bolpuda Gauji 2’, a bunch of virtual competitions and events for children on the occasion of Diwali and Children’s day. The event was held amidst great fanfare and enthusiasm on their group. The programme unfolded the creative abilities of children through a string of activities which included ethnic wear showcase, storytelling, Diya decoration, lantern making and drawing based on the theme ‘Diwali in 2020'. The highlight of the event was inclusion of special needs kids who participated in the event by sending in their beautifully dressed ethnic wear pictures.
While Judy Kamath, Reshma Kamath Nayak and Dr Vidya D’Souza were the esteemed judges, the event was sponsored by Boston Tea Ltd, Sweet Hive, My Roadrunner, Siddhi Enterprises and Daijiworld.com.
While a plethora of enthusiastic kids and parents got together, the main stars of the event were the children and their mothers, whose support and participation defined the success of the event.
