Bahrain: Star Artistes for Konkani Kutam’s Decennial Celebration on Jun 3

Bahrain, May 30: The rescheduled decennial celebration of Konkani Kutam Bahrain will be held on Thursday June 3 at Bishop Tirinanzi Auditorium, next to Sacred Heart Church, at 7.30 pm.
Due to unavoidable technical reasons, the event, which was originally scheduled for Thursday May 20, had been postponed.
Mangalore’s famous artiste ‘Yodeling King’ Melwyn Peris who gave his 75th musical nite recently, will be the star performer along with well-known female singer Anitha , comedian Jerry Rasquinha, and Konkani’s young talent Rony D’Cunha.
The presence of musical maestro and one of the judges for ‘Gulf Voice of Mangalore’ Joel Pereira will be an added attraction.

The talented local artistes are all set to stage a comedy drama ‘Gongo’ written by CJS Taccode.
Titus Noronha and Roy Castelino, two prominent personalities from Mangalore, will be the guests of honour.
Internationally-renowned compere Ronald Olivera will host the show.
Chief co-ordinator of Konkani Kutam Richard Moras informed Daijiworld that the event will be different from past years as a variety of talent is being flown in from Mangalore and Kuwait.
“Konkani lovers from Bahrain are looking forward to this event as we have been receiving tremendous response to the event”, he said.
