Publicity at what cost ? What does he get at the end ? Broken teeth, wounded gums and pain for the rest of his life ? It is pure madness. I agree feats like climbing mount everest, flying solo around the world, all india tour on foot etc., but not this. Never ! Who can enlighten him ?

In response to the question from Rahul of Mangalore, in search for an answer, I had a quick look in the Google, which says "this question has not yet been answered satisfactorily. However, related answer says, "these stones are called fish otoliths and are among the strangest and wonderful bits of vertebrate anatomy. They are strikingly structural, and their clean surfaces tend to display an alluring opalescent sheen. No one is absolutely sure about their function, but it is safe to say that they generally serve in a sensory system very much like the saccule/utricle". As the subject article states, an exhibition of Bangera`s collections being held today in Mangalore, and Rahul will do well to visit the same for more details. By the way, congratulations Bangera on your your coconut peeling record.
