Mandya, Dec 25: While protests by farmers against the central government over the controversial farm laws continue to rage in parts of India, the nation is also hailing farmers by way of celebrating 'Kisan Samman Diwas' in honour of Chaudhary Charan Singh, the fifth Prime Minister of independent India. The contribution of farmers to the country is no doubt immense, not just in terms of agricultural production and putting food on our plates, but in terms of leading agricultural innovation as well.

One such progressive farmer is Manje Gowda from Komanahalli village here, who has studied up to eighth standard. His inventions and new plans he has envisaged have earned him a repution of being known as farmer-cum-scientist, 'Robot' Manje Gowda. Now he has started to supply free power to his village, and particularly to the poor villagers.

Manje Gowda has an interest in science and technology. He has already invented several machineries and equipment. Now he has been generating power by using seepage water from the pond and supplying power free of cost.

By using his own imagination, Gowda had a fixed turbine which is run by a machine he had made that pushes water on to the turbine. He generates about 3 kw power which is supplied to his village, Komanahalli, a kilometre away from his land, through the cable, He has been providing power to the poor families as well as schools, milk dairy etc. He also supplies water and power. He also generates wind power.

Manje Gowda's other inventions are automatic railway gate, robot that can search for people and things that have fallen into water or borewells and machineries that can help the soldiers at the nation's border etc.

District in-charge minister, Narayana Gowda, who has hailed Gowda's achievements and social work, said that he will bring these things to the notice of the government and see that the government will extend him help.

    People,

Typically these types of experiments are performed by Engineering students for their Project works....

I am surprised a person like Manje Gowda doing these experiments...no doubt he has innovations in his mind...People and Government should encourage him in his inventions ....

Microsoft founder Bill Gates also a College dropout....so inference we can draw here...to be a inventor ...you don't have to be a college graduate...Grit and determination could bring results...

    ...Tak...Takk...

Never reveal your invention to anyone. Now the electricity board and its various governess will stop you doing such things to get rid off your inventions so that their power based income would be directly threatened by your inventions. A representative has already in touch with you to teach you a lesson indirectly. and will bring your invention to the notice of the high.

Rajath mangaloreMandya you are right. These people will try to stop him or file fine too without having any licence etc ,they will try to get money because their business will be down. One has to be careful.Never give out your secret. To get a Patent one has to run behind them, lot of money has to be invested.who gives garantie when presented for Patent someone will take the copy and use it self?In India is no garantie for anything. It takes more than a year for aPatent to be recognized. If he wants can try for a Patent.
