Mangaluru, Dec 26: Two young men who were travelling by a motorbike were stabbed by a gang which approached them in another motorbike from behind and caused an accident before stabbing them. This incident happened at Kuthar Krishnakody within the limits of Ullal police station during late night hours on Friday December 25.

The injured persons have been identified as Aditya (23) from Sevantigudde, and Pavan (27), a resident of Pandith House. The duo was going to fetch their brother who works for a catering firm located in a church when the incident took place.

An unidentified motorbike which came from behind dashed against the victims’ motorbike. Both of them were tossed to the road due to the jolt. Then the miscreants stabbed both of them with a knife before escaping. One of the two was injured at two places while the other suffered one stab injury. Both the injured stand admitted into a private hospital at Deralakatte.

Ullal police have registered a case. The spot where this incident took place had witnessed attempt on the life of a Rashtriya Swyamsevak Sangh leader in the past.

    Comparing apple with orange is not a wise thought. Mumbai is known for underworld activities for generations. Instead, we ought to blame current law and order situation of the city which the people of the city never experienced before.
