Mangaluru: Bike rider killed in head-on collision at Chembugudde

Mangaluru, Dec 26: Sandesh Kerebail (38), resident of Santoshi Nagar here, lost his life in an unfortunate accident which happened in the wee hours on Saturday December 26, at Chembugudde. Two vehicles were involved in the accident.

Two vehicles, a motorbike and a Dio vehicle, were involved in the accident, in which the bike rider, Sandesh, lost his life.

Sandesh was returning home after taking part in the annual festival at Kolya temple when the tragic accident happened at around 3 am. Sandesh, who sustained severe injuries in his head, lost his life on the spot.

The deceased was unmarried. He has left behind a sister and his mother. He used to work as a painter. After the coronavirus-related lockdown affected his work, he had started to sell fish near Kolya.

A case relating to this accident was lodged in the traffic police station at Naguri here.
