These things are happening only because of over speed and careless driving by the drivers. All the drviers should understand that they carry others life with them. They should not be careless like that. Now RTA should implement some stricter rules. Otherwise many more such things happens continuously.

Some people blame condition of roads, some people blame RTO. Our total systerm of roads and RTO is based on corruption and on the top of it. Uneducated Goonda type drivers who doesnt even know basics of driving while they have obtained driver's license thru normal syestem of bribing. And again, they are totally supported by moral police of the district. So, whats the heck? So, stop worrying about the justice which we Citizen of India never going to get against these menace. The traffic police in the District, has no idea about how to stop even loud honking of the private buses. How they can control any thing else? If you question, there is a tailormade reply, "We are short of Staff". But, we know the number of unemployed persons in the country.

Thanks to the RTO for their project of broadening the roads (which is under progress in some areas)in Mangalore. It is scary to travel by the local buses.Whether it is school bus or passenger bus ,all are humans. Drivers should keep the distance between the vehicles and the speed limit.I have seen on the highways also they do not care for the passengers. They just overtake with full speed ignoring the oncoming vehicles and they flash to give way. We hold our hearts in our hand and pray till we reach the destination. To keep up the bus timings the drivers speed up and put theirs, passenger and pedestrian life at risk.RTO to restrict the vehicle permits and frequency of the vehicle routes.

In Manglore & Udupi,Bus journey is a nightmare whether it is Express or city bus.50-5- chance for our lives. Here drivers main aim is not to take passsengers to their destination, but to reach destination in SUPERSONIC SPEED ! City buses from Udupi to Manipal doesn't know the word STOP. One has to jump from the bus when it slows down in the destiantion area.Last time,in Manipal, when I was trying to get down with my children (3 &5years),I was fraction slow, I heard bus conductor screaming " YOU GO BY AUTO..RIGHT RIGHT " .In UAE, School buses are given special and first importance on the road.In India ..all are equal !

The road in Neermarga is narrow and the buses ply at high speeds to makeup for lost time in city roads. Otherwise accident cases are less because the drivers are really experienced with these winding roads. The number of schools and colleges is on a rise in this area. Unfortunate accident but something has to be done with the timings of buses, especially the service buses going to BC Road via Neermarga.

No doubt any one observing the Omnis' and Autos' ferrying school kids in such a rash manner will be surprised that perhaps only a God above may be protecting the innocent children.Do these vehicles have an official mandate to load students in such a precarious manner? Fortunately it was a larger school bus - imagine what the scenario would be had it been an auto or Omni? when will our powerful/responsible officials condescend to take regulated action? What is the reason that they all turn a blind eye to such serious matters just under their noses? Add to this the condition of our roads and particularly the pedastrian utility areas and consider the disaster area possible! Please wake up! It is late in the day.

look at the snaps properly. School bus is proper in the track but the raj kumar has come on the way of this school. its not in its track. Poor kids. May God help them in speed recovery and let this kids come out from this trauma too. Tomo the same raj kumar bus will be on its track carrying passenger with the same driver. Thats the beauty of our Mangalore police. Good for nothing ..

Only RTO to be blamed as getting drivers licence has become very easy. I have noticed drivers care for their side mirrors than the life of their own and of others, as they fold their side mirrors wile driving. These drivers have no idea how to overtake or how to watch the movements behind them. They move left to right and visa versa without warning or indication. First the traffic police department should be disciplined and then all the public transport drivers. Their speed limit must be kept under check. Licensing should be in a organised manner.

Alhamdulilla, praise the Lord.! he saved the lives.Definitely mangalore bus drivers need COUNSELLING ..and every bus owners compulsorily send their drivers to the counselling . From the race and competition of the BUSes its very difficult for two wheelers ,pedestrians and others. if anything goes wrong bus owners have rep's to go police station and to deal with officers, and this is routine for them.that's why they don't care anyone...! Now SUPER COP MR. RAO came back, can we expect initiative from him...??

The first and second photographs will tell us what went wrong with both Bus drivers. Both wanted to ride on Metaled narrow Road. However Raj Kumar Bus Driver was dominantly riding more towards Right side, shows his attitude towards other riders on the Road.
I am not Passing the Judgment over these two Drivers, But as a Parent I understand the Pain and Trauma these Tiny Tots and their Parents under going.
Regarding impending action, I am pessimistic about the School and Government authorities concern. But I only suggest to the Parents Unitedly sue the School Management, as they are responsible for the well being of your children.

Accidents do happen but these types of accidents are more than the limit due to rash driving, Carelessness, Competition..etc.No government authority’s boddered to investigate whom you guys are put them into power to rule you, we need to blame ourselves first, or learn from your mistakes.

Gone are those days, when we were proud of the public transport system. Those days the drivers were very friendly with the travellers and were very caring. Now, we see only goonda charectors as bus drivers with few exceptions. The way they treat the travellers in a uncivilised manner shows their attitude towards human life. These drivers are the first persons to escape from the scene of accident instead of making arrangements to reach the victims to the nearest hospital.

Mangalore private bus drivers are pretty rash, but the victims are poor kids. There should be strict speed limit for the drivers and to penalised heavily if failed to stick on rules.

Thanks GOD for saving all the children with minor injuries. Rajkumar bus is having monopoly in this route , over crowded bus with people sitting on top and hanging on the lader is common scene. So many protest and complaits have been give but there was no action taken yet.

We may expect casualities in this route if the situatiion continue this way. This is the right time for the authorities to interfere and solve the common peoples problem in this route.
