Udupi, Dec 29: For India, 2021 will be a year without eclipses. Though there are four eclipses that will take place in the world, they will not be visible in India.
On May 26 Kagras lunar eclipse, on November 19 partial lunar eclipse, on June 10 Kankana solar eclipse and on December 4 Kagras solar eclipse will occur in 2021.
One more speciality of 2021 is that there will be four super moons on March 28, April 27, May 26 and June 24. The moon will appear 25 times bigger than usual on these days according to the information given by retired physics lecturer Dr A P Bhat.

Though 15 meteorite showers occur every year, 2021 will have very few. On January 4 Quadrantid, August 12 Perseid and on December 14 Gemenid meteorite showers will take place. In addition, Saturn and Jupiter planets will be seen fully on August 2 and 20 respectively.
On April 27, the moon will hide Mars. Venus, which will be seen in the sky in the mornings till the first week of February, will be seen in the evening on the western side from April 21 till the end of the year. Mercury, which can be seen six times in a year, will be seen in the western sky in the evenings immediately after the sunset on January 24, May 17 and September 14. On March 6, July 4 and October 25, it can be seen in the eastern sky during dawn.
