Mangaluru: Congress-SDPI enter into verbal scuffle near counting centre

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (DV)

Mangaluru, Dec 30: Police have restored a mild lathi-charge after Congress- SDPI party workers engaged in verbal battle. Police resorted to lathi-charge to avoid any untoward incidents between the Congress workers and SDPI party activists of Adoor village.

The incident was reported at Mahatma Gandhi Centenary PU College in Bondel.

It may be recalled that city police commissioner had issued prohibitory orders in the purview of 200 meters of counting centres.

    Dear Congress and its supporters,
Please bow out and move on, the new opposition has arrived, that would really take care of minorities than pretending to be its savior. This was expected, it just took time to garner supporters. A major influx from Cong to SDPI is expected in the coming days. We are tired of the endless press conferences, futile protests for silly reasons from the same old aging and rejected leaders. The only mantra you had was 'BJP & Modi bashing' that went on to be so stale , the eventually some in the party started liking Modi. Ha Ha ha. Anyways good luck!

The writing was clearly on the wall. It was just a matter of right time that a new opposition party would emerge. The Anti CAA protests were an eye opener for one faction of minorities, who came to the streets to protest for a strike called by the grand old party with the assurance that all minorities will participate. Eventually one faction slowly stayed indoors and came online the next day.

Its literally the end of the Vadra Congress in DK as a new party SDPI emerges. A blessing in disguise for JDS as there might be a paradigm shift of Vadra Congress loyals .

BJP is watching the bitter acrimony, between friendly allies, Congress n SDPI, with much delight n amusement !! They supported each other hoping to check mate NDA The grand old Congress party has now realised the treachery, their ally cleverly, back stabbed them, hijacked their minority vote bank, leaving them decimated, today they are neither here, there or anywhere !!!!

This is a sad ending to minority vote bank politics. This is what happens when minorities come together, not based on ideology, but based on a common hatred towards Hindus. Otherwise, how can our Catholic community continue to vote for Congress that openly celebrated Tipu Sultan jayanti to keep another important community happy? Are we really that stupid to forget our ancestor's sacrifice and sufferings? We need to do an introspection and stop this silly hindu bashing for our own sake.

Ranjith bhai, your thought provoking, indepth analysis, has decimated the " Think Tank " that colluded with powerful lobbyists and deliberately sacrificed the interest of the community...

The laity are certainly not dumb sheep... they should arise and overthrow the hegemony of those preaching fear... The community continues to be marginalized, would have flourished, had it not been for the genocide unleashed by tyrant Tippu Sultan... Wake up call for Christians, irrespective of denominations in India....

There's no need for any separate minority morcha in a free, liberal, masses party like BJP where there are equal opportunities for all, without appeasements, irrespective of caste and creed.
