In Israel it's common to all and western world, fire arms handling training is available for interested civilians.
Otherwise criminals will always have upper hand and face no resistance; civilians will be in a vulnerable situation.
At all the time, Police can not provide protection to all.
Training helps civilians to fight with criminals for self defense.
