Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 31: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 35 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 32,884. Out of these, 368 cases are currently active.

A total of 4,74,681 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,41,797 are negative.

As many as 32 people were discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,784.

A total of 732 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 18,777 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 19,97,978 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,059, including 21 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 74 cases are currently active.

Over 2,85,864 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,62,805 have turned out negative.

As many as eight patients were discharged on Thursday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,797.

A total of 188 deaths have occurred so far.
