Mangaluru, Jan 12: Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) hosted a webinar on 'Opportunities for MBAs in Public Sector' on Saturday January 9 at the MSNIM campus at Bondel, here.

An alumnus of the institute, Zeeval Khan, the assistant controller (AC)/deputy director of Karnataka State Audit & Accounts Department was the guest speaker for the webinar. The webinar was a part of Manel Srinivas Nayak Memorial webinar series which focuses on issues of contemporary interest to its MBA students.

Dr Molly S Chaudhuri, director of MSNIM and other faculty members were present during the talk. About 200 students and alumni of the institute participated in the webinar, which was in the hybrid mode, both online and offline.

In his address, Zeeval Khan enlightened the students about the career prospects for MBA students in the government sector and motivated them to join government administrative services. He briefed the students about the selection process for government service and the examination system followed in government recruitment. He also guided them on the books to be referred to write such exams. “Passion, Perfection and Patience are the keys to success. It does not matter if you are a late entrant or the last mover, but you should be a fast mover. Never lose hope and keep trying till you succeed,” he advised.
