Mangaluru, Jan 12: Coastal Security Force personnel on Tuesday January 12, rescued a woman from drowning at Someshwar beach.

The girl identified as Keerthi (23), a resident of Bommasandra, Bengaluru. She had arrived on an excursion with her friends Jayashree and Kriya.

The group had arrived from Bengaluru by a cab.

They were playing in the sea when a massive wave struck Keerthi dragging her away into danger.

Coastal Security Force staff Ashok Someshwar, Kiran, Antony and Shivaprasad took part in the rescue operation.
