Mangaluru: Union Bank managing director Raj Kiran Rai inaugurates renovated office

Mangaluru, Jan 21: Union Bank of India managing director, CEO, president of Indian Bank Association and member of Institute of Banking Personnel selection managing committee Raj Kiran Rai visited the bank’s zonal office and regional office on January 18 and inaugurated the renovated office of the bank.

Mangaluru zonal chief general manager, M V Balasubrahmanyam, Mangaluru regional office head Jagannath Shetty and assistant general manager Sathish Rai were present.

The trimonthly magazine brought out from the digitalization department, ‘Digital Trend’ was released on the occasion.

Rai addressing the bank officials of the zonal region of the bank said that the merger of Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank with the Union bank has been successful. He called on the staff to increase their productivity and provide quality service to the customers. “It is the responsibility of the nationalized banks to make sure that the schemes introduced by the government reach the beneficiaries,” he said. He commended the work of every bank staff despite the difficult conditions of coronavirus.
