Mangaluru, Jan 29: DySP of NIA Hyderabad, T V Rajesh is conferred with President’s police medal for meritorious service on Republic Day.
The award was conferred on Rajesh for cracking the murder case of MLA of Araku constituency of Andhra Pradesh, who was killed by Maoists.
Rajesh was serving as superintendent at the commissionerate of central excise, goods and service tax, Mangaluru and is presently deputed on duty in National Investigation Agency (NIA).
He has also served in the directorate of revenue intelligence of Mangaluru and CBI in Goa.
