Farmer protests will go on indefinitely: Rakesh Tikait

New Delhi, Feb 10 (IANS): BKU leader Rakesh Tikait has said that the farmer protests would go on indefinitely if the government didn't take back the three contentious farm laws.

"If the government does not accept our demands, we will continue to sit on protest till even 2024," Tikait told IANS.

He further stated "As long as the three farm laws are not taken back, a law on MSP is not made and the Swaminathan Committee report not implemented, we would continue our struggle."

Tikait also said that the government was benefiting only the commission agents.

When asked about the inconvenience caused to people of Delhi due to the farmer protests, he said, "People of Delhi themselves are part of this movement."

Yes, 100 cr given to this man, once he will finish he will stop but if they give him again he will continue. So called all Farmers on protest with Takait for more than 90 days but nowhere in India we have shortage of rice or vegetables that means real farmers still working in the field. Last Chakka Jam they have seen how government prepared so again they never any jam otherwise government will make jam out of them. Hence, so far real farmers are not into protesting, we are not bothered if its indefinite or permanent.
