Virus is highly infectious. The only sure way of defeating this is China type lockdown for 15 days. This will break the chain and may help the administration to manage the situation better. We are on fools paradise to depend on vaccination for control of the infection as all the countries are chasing the limited production of vaccine and may have to wait up to 2022 first half for vaccinating significant population to get herd immunity.

Prevention is better than cure ( and much cheaper).Where are the vaccines? There is acute shortage, and no proper information as to which vaccine is available where...If a large population was vaccinated by now, there would have been no necessity or shortage of beds and oxygen. Incidentally both the patients are wearing their masks below the nose in the picture above... If this is the situation how will you control Covid.Moving about in a PPE is not enough, action and advance planning is required at ground level.

India Today web desk: "As of April 22, India has administered 13,23,30,644 doses of the Covid-19 vaccines. (PTI) While India's vaccination drive began in January, the number of total doses administered across the country has crossed 13 crore as of now. At this pace, India would take over 8 years to vaccinate 70% of the population and thus achieve herd immunity. And it would take 12 years to vaccinate the entire population. .. ......
