Centre allotted Karnataka 2.62 lac vials of Remdesivir for use from May 10 to 16

Bengaluru, May 7: Karnataka has been allotted 2,62,346 vials of Remdesivir anti-viral injections by the Centre out of the 19.2 lac Remdesivir anti-viral injections allotted to different states for use between May 10 and 16.

Union minister for chemicals and fertilisers D V Sadananda Gowda, who is also in charge of the pharmaceutical department, has tweeted that Karnataka’s share of the Remdesivir anti-viral injections from the total of 53 lac vials supplied to different states from April 21 is 5.75 lac vials.

State health and family welfare minister Dr K Sudhakar has also confirmed the allotment of additional Remdesivir anti-viral injections to Karnataka and has thanked union minister Sadananda Gowda.
