Bhatkal, May 13: The Muslim community in Uttar Kannada celebrated the holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday May 13.

As per the guidelines of the government as well as Quazi of Bhatkal, people offered Eid prayers at their homes.

Every year, Bhatkal celebrates Eid in a grand manner. Thousands of people gather at the mosque to offer namaz as part of the festival. However, this year, the mosques and nearby areas wore a deserted look as there are lockdown restrictions due to coronavirus pandemic.

At Bhatkal Juma masjid, limited members and Imam offered Eid prayers.
