Karwar, Jun 14: A woman who got angry at her husband for giving her some advice, hired killers to murder him. However, the woman and the hired people were arrested by the Dandeli police.
Tejaswini Sutara used to be always busy on her mobile phone. Her husband, Ankush Rama Sutara, used to repeatedly advise her against getting addicted to the mobile phone. Frustrated by the advice, Tejaswini contacted her friend, Vanita Chavan, a resident of Ganeshpura, Belagavi, over phone and sought her help in killing her husband. She offered to pay Rs 30,000 for eliminating her husband.
Vanita sent two persons, Shantaram Patil, and a minor boy, to Dandeli. They along with Tejaswini were trying to smother Ankush to death when Ankush escaped from their grip and shouted for help. The accused had fled from there. Later, the police arrested them.
