Your arduous efforts to promote our beloved mother tongue-Konkani even crossing our shores is admirable. Your commitment and devotion to the cause at home is by now well known. May your endeavours meet with roaring success. I know that in Canada, Mangaloreans are a well knit community with outstanding love for the language [Don't know if it is out of a complex arising from youngsters not taking to it- parents speaking Konkani at home would help the cause a great deal]. I am sure you will receive overwhelming support.
    Best wishes for every success.

Dear Joe, we missed the oppotunity to meet and greet Ericbab and Louiebab here in Chicago. We had made all arrangements for them to stay with us, attend tonight's MKCA Monthi Fest and deliver Vovllig for World Konkani Convention. However, Ericbab was unable to get his visa from American Consulate in India to visit Chicago. It is really sad. We wish them all the best in tomorrow's Monthi Fest by MAC in Canada.

Eric and Louie - after making waves in various places in India and Middle East, you have now ventured into Canada. Yes - you are fulfilling a long felt need. Konkani must find a place all over the world and I am happy that you both have taken the initiative to promote Konkani.

What is your next step? Windsor is only a few miles away from Canada and you cross the border and you are in America and Detroit is only an hour from Windsor. Hope you will consider the possibilities of proceeding to U.S.A. too.

Kudos to both of you and may your efforts be blessed.
