Bengaluru, Jul 27: Karnataka on Tuesday, July 27 registered 1,501 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 22,487. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 354.
As many as 32 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Tuesday, with Bengaluru Urban recording five deaths, the death toll in the state has risen to 36,437.
The state recorded 2,039 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 28,38,717.
So far, Karnataka has seen 28,97,664 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.46% while the case fatality rate for the day is 2.13%.
As many as 2,93,61,453 people have received vaccination so far.
