Saudi to impose 3-year travel ban for those traveling to 'red-listed' countries including India

Riyadh, Jul 28: In an effort to curb the spread of coronavirus and its new variants, Saudi Arabia will impose a three-year travel ban on citizens travelling to countries on the kingdom's 'red list'.

According to Reuters, state news agency SPA on Tuesday July 27 cited an unnamed interior ministry official saying that some citizens of Saudi Arabia, who were allowed to travel abroad without prior permission from authorities had violated travel regulations. The official also added that if any citizen who is proven to violate the regulations will be subject to legal accountability and heavy penalties upon their return, and will be banned from travel for three years.

It may be recalled, Saudi Arabia has banned travel to or transit at a number of countries including India, Afghanistan, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa, Turkey, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.

    More than doube..is it??....I dont think all of them do...its only software engineers with overs 7 years of experience and maybe MRPL engineers.....Not bad, even zomato/swiggy delivery guys earn somewhat better now.

    Charan, Quote Who cares ! No need of gulf money , Nowadays Indians are earning more than double salary in India than what they earn in these desert countries. Unquote Was in the Gulf until August 2019 as a Secretary -- subsequently our Company got liquidated and returned to India. Been 2 years searching for a job in Bombay but futile. If you can help out with any opportunities I will be highly obliged. Needless to say you will invoke God's abundant blessings on you and your family.
