Moodbidri, Jul 28: The annual four month long Chaturmasya celebrations began at Jain Kashi Moodbidri on July 24. Dr Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Panditacharya, the global seer gave an introduction to the rituals.

Former minister, Chaturmasya committee president K Abhayachandra Jain wished that everybody may receive religious benefit from the poojas and prayers.

Charukeerthi Sree congratulated and blessed representatives of Dharmastala Dharmadhikari, singer of holy song Namitha Jain Belgaum, literary artiste Raviraj Jain, artistes who helped with keyboard and Tabla.

Shailendra Jain, Yuvaraj Jain, Pravinchandra S, P Vidyakumar, Dhanakeerthi Balipa, Sanjayandha Kumar, Dr K Prabhachandra, Bahubali Prasad, Sripathi Bhat, advocate Shwetha Jain, MCC bank’s S Chandrashekar, Vrinda, Veena, Manjula, Vinanti Sarojamma, Shakuntala, Mohini Vimal Kumar and others were present.

Dr Prabhat Balnad compered the programme. Pramayi and Kyathi sang a prayer. Professor K Namiraj rendered a vote of thanks. The programme concluded after Shantimantra.
