Modi Terms Those Opposing Ayodhya Verdict as Hypocrites

Vadodara, Oct 4 (PTI): Slamming political parties that criticised Allahabad High Court's verdict on Ayodhya title suit, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi  termed them as "hypocrites".

"People should identify these hypocrites who do not respect judgement of a court," he said.

Modi asked the people to defeat the candidates of these parties contesting civic elections scheduled to take place in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Bhavnagar on October 10.

He was addressing a public meeting in support of BJP candidates contesting the elections here.

The chief minister opposed the demand of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee requesting the State Election Commission not to declare the results of civic bodies polls on October 12, as elections for 25 district panchayats, 208 taluka panchayats and 53 nagarpalikas are scheduled on October 21.

Who agitated before Allahabad High Court's verdict on Ayodhya that if this verdict is against us then we will not agree and insisted that judgment always should be favor on us. Can anybody say that is this respect of judgment of a court? Who challenged the Indian constitution openly and demanded amendment?

This is like “one criminal kills his father, normal verdict for this heinous act is that he should be sentenced according to the law of land and he will not be entitled from his father’s asset. But strange verdict come as he will be released without sentence and also entitled from his father’s asset”

Modi has always been a staunch supporter of Ayodhya for hindus and a strong ally of Advani in Ram mandir construction. How come this change of heart all of a sudden? The common man is confused with his statements. Is it a political gimmick?
