Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal (DV)

Bantwal, Sep 8: “BJP will come to power in the next assembly elections, by winning 150 seats," said BJP state unit president and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

He was speaking after unveiling name plates of BJP booth presidents’ residence here on Wednesday September 8.

Nalin said that under the guidance of B S Yediyurappa and leadership of chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, there is good administration in the state. He also thanked Bantwal MLA U Rajesh Naik, stating that the MLA is doing good development works in his constituency.

He further said, “To decrease the gap between the party workers and the representatives, name plaques are unveiled at the residences of BJP booth presidents, after visiting their houses. Importance will be given to the interests of the party workers.

“In other parties, leaders will emerge using money and caste pressure. Hence, the BJP is different from other parties. Only, BJP can rule the country keep in mind the national interests,” he added.

Speaking during the occasion, Rajesh Naik said, “The overwhelming response of party workers and their love towards the party, is an inspiration to the party. It is our pride that the ideology of RSS and principles of BJP were released in our lifetime.”

He also said that Nalin, without giving importance to a person, has given importance to the organisation of the party.

BJP name plates were unveiled in residence Nagesh Bhandary booth number 208, Kunjappa Gowda booth number 209 and Thimappa Gowda booth number 210.

Netla Gram Panchayat president Sathish Poojary, Ananthadi Gram Panchayath president Ganesh Poojary Ananthadi, vice-president Kusumadhara Gowda and others were present.

I have stopped blaming Nalin. I would not be surprised if this joker wins again . In my view, its Congress to be blamed. The Congress has no good candidates to counter him. Just the old ageing brigade and tainted youngsters are pitted against Nalin. Even the ground level or booth level workers are dumb. They do not have answers to many questions raised by the common people . The only mantra they have his 'hate Modi, as he is against minorities'. Nobody buys this xhit anymore. SDPI , JDS and BJP minority morcha have alarmingly grown stronger. But still the Ramu Kaakas of Congress do not agree.

Yes he tried all that stunt and even went to the extent saying he was a leader jsut due to the love showered to him by a certain community. The voters taught him a good lesson that he was then seen praying in a temple in Trishur. He was routed by a normal karyakarta. Ha ha ha. Today his political career is limited to helping his wife in the Kitchen.

People go to religious places and do all sort of stunts for votes. BJPs campaigning happens in temples and is all about religion mostly anyway. If a rival candidate just sings a folk song, it becomes an issue now?

MODI/BJP IN GENERAL AND NALIN IN PARTICULAR NEVER TASTED DEFEAT SINCE FROM DAY ONE AND FOR THAT MATTER HAVE A GOOD VISION. IN WB BJP CONSOLIDATED ITS SEATS EVEN THOUGH COULD NOT REACH THE TARGET. THE RECENT CORPORATION ELECTIONS ARE A POINTER MAY BE +/- 10%. ON THE OTHER HAND HAND SYMBOL ITSELF IS BLEAK BY TRIANGLE FIGHT SIDDU VERSUS DEEKAYSHI VERSUS PARAMESHI.

@jr, Mangalore - I don't know what special glasses you are wearing if you have not seen BJP's defeat and failures. Next time watch carefully whenever BJP fails - all their leaders go into hiding for several days. Then slowly they come out one by one to praise their "stalwart" leader. The only thing that is helping BJP stay in power today is a weak and disorganized Congress party - so don't start handing out trophies to BJP as they not the deserving winners either.

Getting more seats is beneficial to party, it's o.k. What the benefit to people of Karnataka? As of now, we are just next to Maharashtra much ahead of Gujarat and many other states in overall contribution of Taxes. Unless Karnataka get fair share amount of funds allocation from center for development of infrastructure, we will lag behind even after putting in hard work and paying huge taxes. Our people should decide what we want.

You guys have made our lives mess, everything is 2 to 3 times expensive, don't know if there are potholes in roads or roads in potholes, added to that is increase in tolls, electricity, fuel price, the way cylinders are priced sooner or later people will have to throw them to gujri.
