Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Sep 9: All the three persons accused in the case pertaining to writing pro-terrorism slogans on the compound walls of the city have secured bail. They have been released from the prisons.

Engineering student Maz Muneer, had obtained bail through the sessions court after two months of his arrest. The two other accused, Muhammed Sharik and Sadat Hussain from Thirthahalli who continued to be in judicial custody got bail through the high court a week back.

Writing on the wall which warned that Lashkar and Talibanis will come to handle Sanghis and Hindu hard-core supporters, had been found to have been written on the wall of an apartment complex on Beijai-Kadri Kambla road. Student Maz Muneer Ahmed and Muhammed Sharik were the persons accused of writing the sentence. Both of them are from Thirthahalli. Maz, an engineering student of a private college, lived in a flat on Arya Samaj Road. Sharik was his friend, working as a salesman here. Sadat Hussain was arrested for helping them.

During the questioning, it transpired that another person, Arafat Ali, had instigated them to create the graffiti. Arafat who also is from Thirthahalli, had left for Saudi Arabia three years ago.

This is a very serious national security case if proved but to release the accused from prison on bail means the case is not strong enough and doesn’t have enough proof. No where in india so far terrorists been released on bail from prison except by BJP itself on Kandahar air hijack. This is election gimmick by BJP. Both the paid accused and BD-VHP are glove in hand are big drama artists for elections.

Hope they are on police radar and do not obtain passport/emigration clearance. Such evil mindset at such a young age is potentially a time bomb in making . they should always be on the Radar. If Gulf country knows about their history, for sure even they would not issue visa for such minds.
