Bengaluru, Sep 10: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has directed the State Government officials to immediately start the process of selecting 4 lakh beneficiaries for allotment of houses under different housing schemes.

An official government order has asked the officials to ensure that a separate proposal was submitted if the Union Government did not grant approval for allotment of 4 lakh houses or approved lesser number of houses so that the remaining beneficiaries can be allotted houses under different housing schemes implemented by the State Government.

Under the official government order, officials have been asked to identify beneficiaries in urban and rural areas from among the socially and economically backward sections of society for allotment of 4 lakh houses.

The Chief Minister received representations from the people near his residence in R T Nagar in the city on Friday.

It is a good thing I find about our dear Chief Minister, Shri Basavaraj Bommai that whatever decision he takes, it is very reasonably good. I thank him for such a straight forward dealing which in everybody's opinion, I think is quite appropriate and acceptable to all people by and large. However, I must say, it is impossible to please each and every one on any issue, sometimes when good people take !!! MAY OUR ALMIGHTY BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY MEMBERS ALWAYS !

In all likelihood, "beneficiaries" will be party workers, Dr Yeddy Operation Specialist nominees, Eshwarappa nominees, Shettar and Bommai nominees. If JDS decides to support BJP in Kalaburgi, perhaps Kummy and Ajja members will also get Free Houses along with free lunches. There's nothing in these Political schemes for us - Be it CONgress or NCP or SS or AAP. We, distressed commentators, will continue fighting over each other on this forum. Point to note Jossey and Veer
