Karkala, Sep 20: In a swift operation, activists of a Hindu organization rescued two cows which were being transported in a car after their theft. The incident happened within an hour of the organization holding a mega protest meeting against cattle theft at Shirlalu.

Two stolen cows which were being taken in a car, were rescued by the members of Hindu Jagarana Vedike. Those in the other car succeeded in fleeing.

The activists began chasing the Maruti 800 car in question. It is said that the car was moving towards Kevashe. It is gathered that the car hit a roadside tree near the mosque after which those inside the car fled.

A large number of activists rushed to the spot. The situation in the area turned tense.

A case was registered at Ajekar police station.

The petty thieves have become professional now. It's because of the overreaction of these so called moral police. It's like 'catch me if you can type stubbornness now. They are becoming a organized gang with weapons and informers.
