Mangaluru: Victorians welcome new comers on Freshers’ Day

Mangaluru, Sep 25: The much awaited Freshers’ Day programme was held in Ladyhill Victoria P U College hall on September 24 at 1:30 pm. With the theme 'Unleash your Potential', the day created an opportunity in students to showcase their talents and entertain the audience. The benevolent welcome of seniors to the freshers boosted their confidence and generated a friendly atmosphere between them.

The programme was anchored by Bee Fathima of II Science. It began with a divine prayer service followed by welcome dance by Samanvitha Rao and group of II Commerce. The seniors also entertained them with excitement, enthusiasm and laughter.

The new comers introduced themselves and displayed their potential as says the theme with enthralling performances of dance, music and drama.

The vice principal, Sr Judith shared the message of believing in oneself, overcoming obstacles that hinder their growth and take up new challenges of the year ahead. The students participation and the guidance of teachers led to the success of the show that concluded at 3:30 pm with the college anthem.
