i seriously believe that no one from coastal belt will stoop to that level... press / police should clearly state where the criminals are from, so that locals get better picture about who is flowing into this district... a UP man living in Uppinangadi is being referred to as Uppinangadi man... this is not correct... people claiming to be from assam are mostly bangladeshis...

"i seriously believe that no one from coastal belt will stoop to that level" Seriously? You don't know about pub attacks and homestay attacks where women were assaulted? Now students travelling together have been attacked by coastal belt fellows only.

vishal, i mean commoners among mangalureans, not rogues affiliated with local talibani organisations... pub attack, homestay attack these were conducted by rogues affiliated with nagpur based taliban... there is a difference between this incident and the incidents of rogue attacks in pub, homestay etc.

problem is with bail..thats why they are confident what ever they do they will be out..look at Delhi riots..more than 60-70 people killed..but accused getting bail after bail..courts gives childish reasons like jails over crowded, due corona trial may be delayed so on so forth..court penalties didnt changed may be for decades..just google how much courts fines for henious crimes..its peanut..even SC fined just 1 thousand to cricketer politician Siddu for rash driving and killing of pedestrian!!..

Don't get over excited. It's a claim only. Let the law take its own course. Many such cases later proved wrong. We have read on the other side of story of a police who raped minor.

if what is being accused is true, they should be given harshest punishment..but we know the pace at which Indian law acts..I will not recommend Sharia as many get wild with the mention of the very word. My sympathies with the homeguard woman..hope she is not hurt much..pray for her recover soon..at the same time hope the two guys are not framed unnecessarily..we have to look a matter from all angles...
