Bengaluru, Sep 29: Karnataka Public Service Commission has debarred candidate, Ramesh P Arakeri, and cancelled his candidature in the competitive examination. He has been charged with violating the condition that nothing should be written on question papers.
At a meeting of its members, KPSC has decided to write to the department where the accused is serving, to initiate disciplinary action against him.
For the departmental examinations for the year 2020, competitive examination was held on April 5, 2021. Candidate, Ramesh P Arakeri, who appeared for the examination held at DMS Vidyaniketan School, Belagavi, had marked the answers in his question papers. When the examination supervisor questioned him, he had behaved rudely. The principal of the school had complained to KPSC. Records by way of video and audio clips were submitted as documentary proof of the violation. The commission which scrutinized these things, debarred the accused from the competitive examination held for the year 2020.
