Mangaluru, Aug 4: To celebrate Independence Day, VK Group has announced an online fancy dress competition aimed at showcasing children's talent and creativity. This marks the fourth consecutive year of the event.

Children are invited to dress up as freedom fighters and submit a recent photo and video for the contest. The competition is divided into three categories: Kids, Sub-Junior, and Junior.

Kids category (Ages 2–5):

Participants must send a photo in fancy dress.

• First prize: Study Table
• Second prize: Piano Keyboard
• Third prize: Bookshelf

Winners will also receive medals and certificates.

Sub-junior category (Ages 6–10):

Participants must send a video singing a patriotic song.

• First prize: Bicycle
• Second prize: Study Table and Bookshelf
• Third prize: Bookshelf

Winners will receive medals and certificates.

Junior category (Ages 11–14):

Participants must send a video delivering a patriotic speech.

• First prize: Bicycle
• Second prize: Study Table
• Third prize: Bookshelf

Winners will be honoured with medals and certificates.

Additionally, the top five performers in each category will receive special performance prizes.

An email must also be sent to vkwebmail123@gmail.com with the following details:

• Child’s name, age, and date of birth (with proof)
• Address, mobile number
• School name, grade, and location

Language options:

Songs and speeches can be performed in English, Hindi, or Kannada. The song must be at least 3 minutes long, and the speech must be a minimum of 2 minutes.
