Zacharia, Kuppettie are surnames that does not belong to Belthangady and I suspect in days to come, issues are likely to escalate with more and more rural land are purchased by Keralites. If I heard it right, Malayalam samaja runs schools in Koppa to cater to kids of Keralites. Situation is not very different in Sakleshpura, Madikeri etc. Rubbing the local population the wrong way is also one angle that might have to be considered which may also be related to acceptance of this new crop of owners who found Karnataka more peaceful than God's own country for investment.

UP model under the able leadership of CM Bommai. Police is becoming totally blind spectators in most of the lynching and gang attacks in dakshina kannada. Fringe groups are having full powers with political background.

Very soft on police, they are not blind but actively supporting from behind, just a matter of time before they too will start openly doing such things, don't forget 2008 when police entered churches and even shot tear gas shells into convents where only nuns were there and attacked christian owned businesses.

DK is turning to be the next UP under BJP rule. There should be a solution for all this. This is because of our unpad MP.
