Bantwal, Dec 6: Two students suffered critical injuries after a car ran over them. The icncient took place on Monday December 6.

The students who alighted from a bus at Panemangalore where walking towards their home beside the national highway when they were run over and critically injured by a car passing by.

Mohammed Saleem and Sinchana are the injured students. It is gathered that the car ran over them due to its driver’s negligence. The accident took place a little away from Panemangalore bus stop on Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway. The car that lost control of the driver, later toppled into a gorge.

Mohammed Saleem is under treatment at a private hospital’s intensive care unit in Mangaluru. Sinchana who is also injured is under treatment at a private hospital.

Melkar traffic sub inspector Rajesh visited the spot and registered a case. The car which had fallen into the gorge was lifted with the help of a crane. Though the car is completely damaged, the driver and the passengers in it escaped unhurt.

    Hope the injured students ave no grave injuries ,and recover fast.Now who will pay their hospital bills ?Car owners insurance ?Actuelly they have to as per rules.Previously we had no cars and were more safer than today.Some drivers think they are driving a sports car on Highway-want to show their stunts?I think due to car fell i grog many lives were saved I think.
