Govt ready to give befitting replies to Opposition, Anti-Conversion Bill needed: CM

From Our Special Correspondent

Bengaluru, Dec 13: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who arrived in Belagavi to participate in the State Legislature Session at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha after a gap of two years, on Monday declared that his government was fully prepared to give befitting replies to all issues raised by the Opposition parties.

The Chief Minister held an informal meeting of his Cabinet colleagues before participating in the Legislature session.

Earlier, speaking to reporters at the Belagavi airport, Bommai said his government was committed to bring laws and implement developmental programmes and solve the problems of the people.

While the State Government is determined to work for the development and progress of entire State, the Chief Minster said development of the entire northern Karnataka region and implementation of programmes for its comprehensive development was a priority.

Answering questions from the media, the Chief Minister reiterated that the State Government was determined to bring the anti-conversion bill in the larger interests of the State and in accordance with the demands of majority of the people.

However, he said the proposed bill was presently under the examination of the Law Department. After the Law Department approves the bill, it will be taken up in the State Cabinet meeting and then only it can be tabled in the State Legislature.

On the plans of the opposition parties to oppose the bill when it is introduced in the State Legislature, Bommai said any legislation is bound to support and opposition. But the government has to take decisions in the interest of the people, he declared.

Bommai said the State Government was prepared to meet the representatives of farmers and discuss all their demands.

But he did not give any firm assurance on repeal of the farm laws passed by the State Legislature after the three farm laws were enacted by the Centre, which had been recently repealed.

“We will take a decision on the demands and concerns of farmers after listening to them. We are prepared to take a decision on repeal of farm laws and other laws, if that is in public interest,’’ he asserted.

The Chief Minister said he will be leaving to participate in the meeting of Chief Ministers convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi as there were several issues pertaining to the State in the meeting. He said he will be returning tomorrow after the meeting.

Why Karnataka Govt. wants investments from Christian countries? Are they not afraid of conversion? Anti-national, Anti-conversion law will backfire Karnataka. If Christian institutions go on strike or non-cooperation with.the Karnataka Govt., many Hindus will also suffer. World will not tolerate assault on peace loving community. Fair minded Hindus also should protest against Anti-national Anti-conversion bill. I wish senseless party's vote bank will go bankrupt.

Dear. Sangram Sangam, Kundapur, The Anti-National Anti-Conversion Law is a 2nd Church attack on Churches. Jews have carried out Conversions. Sikhs have carried out Conversions. Hindus have carried out Conversions. Muslims have carried out Conversions. Buddhists have carried out Conversions. Christians have carried out Conversions. HISTORY IS EVIDENT TO ALL OF US; WE THE PEOPLE. HOW COME YOU OBJECT CONVERSIONS NOW. PRESENTLY YOU THE FUNDAMENTALS PUBLICLY ARE CARRYING OUT CONVERSIONS IN THE CROOKED NAME OF GHAR-WAAPSI. NOW DON'T CRY YOU HAVE, HAD FAILED IN CONVERTING SCORES OF PEOPLE THAT IS WHY YOUR POPULATION IS DECREASING. ACTUALLY CHRISTIANS POPULATION HAS COME DOWN. ACCEPTING ANOTHER FAITH IS THE RIGHT OF EVERY HUMANS OF THIS WORLD. YOU PEOPLE HAVE GOT LESSONS IN 2008. DON'T BE UNDER THE IMPRESSIONS OF YEDDY'S CHURCH ATTACKS. DON'T BLASPHEME THE CHURCH BUILT BY JESUS CHRIST THE SAVIOUR OF THE HUMAN'S WORLD.

Dear Kiran, Mlore, Answer the question: Did not Hindu Fundamentals have converted other faiths people / Religious people in to Hinduism Yes or No. Don't cry hereafter. Dear Sangram Sangam, Kundapur, Go to Kerala and fight against your so called Love-Jehad in Kerala. We the Christians are peace loving people in Karnataka and this fundamental Bommai has colluded with RSS, B.D., HJV, HMS, to accomplish their crooked desires to terrorize, intimidate, suppress the smallest Christian community. What a shame on you to oppose Anti-national conversion law. Conversion law is Anti-National. This is a 2nd attack on Churches from B. Bommai, after Yeddy's 2008 Church attacks. Supposedly Christians are going on / indulging on conversion Christian population would have been 45% in India. And you give us the figures, what is the Christian population in India. I don't like Blah, Blah, Blah. Speak with figures/scores of Christians in India.

BJP assumes they are popular all over the country- Effectively they have 30 % popular vote--- Also in our democracy --- IT IS FIRST PAST THE POST - -- WINNER TAKES IT ALL ---- So assume there are 4 candidates - and 100 votes - & almost equal --- If one candidate manages 26 he wins - So remaining candidates who got 74 votes are not having any role in next 5 years decisions -- only sit in opposition - Many countries have proportional representation which is a better type of democracy ---- FURTHER WITH THE MENACE OF ELECTORAL BONDS -- BJP has huge resources- Support of AMBANI - ADANI - other big business -- vested interests -- Last elections -- Lok sabha -- approx 25,000 crores spent by BJP alone-- HOWEVER WITH ALL THESE ADVANTAGES --- STATE ELECTIONS --- Bengal- kerala - TN - maharshtra - orissa- Andhra etc not with ruling dispensation - and expect adverse results in UP -- KARNATAKA managed to entice 17 mla's -- resort politics etc etc -- Basically not popularly elected - last elections -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TO RECALL INDIRA GANDHI was disqualified for election mal practices - basically spending more in her campaign - by todays standards a paltry sum - Present elections have made mockery of the verdict-- one may argue emergency etc - but THAT IS A SEPARATE DEBATE--

Dec 31, 2021 will be last date for Christians and Muslims in India: DJS Leader. Our target is to make India a Hindu Rashtra by 2021. The Muslims and Christians don’t have any right to stay here. “So they would either be converted to Hinduism or forced to run away from here,” Uttar Pradesh DJS head Rajeshwar Singh said. He was reacting to the arrest of Nand Kishore Valmiki, a DJS activist. Such is the cowardly acts of fundoos (fundamentals) We the Christians don't want to kill any humans yet we want to give life to all of them including C.M Bommai, Shoba, Raghupathi Bhat, Pumpwell Nalin and Vedavyasa Kamath.

Will this Ganja bring a bill against lynching of minorities, fake cases booked against minorities? Will he give justice to several hundred of young minorities booked in fake cases. Minorities have to understand that Hindu Rashtra has already started where you will be treated like a 2nd class citizen. These laws are brought with that aim in mind. If you raise your voice against injustice then the state will throw you in jail for decades under this draconian laws.
