Uttara Kannada, Dec 16: A fire mishap took place in a bus that was moving towards Mangaluru from Mumbai. This happened at Jodakere near Yellapur. The flames soon engulfed the bus and reduced it into ashes.
Preliminary assessment pointed towards possible technical defect. The bus had 22 passengers.
As the driver exhibited excellent presence of mind, all the passengers could safely come out of the bus in time.
A case relating to the incident was filed in Yellapur police station.
