Mangaluru, Dec 16: District BJP president Sudarshan Moodbidri spoke on various issues during a press conference in the city on Thursday December 16.

Reacting to the issue of derogatory posts on social media about BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, Sudarshan said, “On social media, citizens are saying that Nalin is weak. By addressing him as weak on social media, he will not become weak. If someone asks him to resign on social media, it is not alms that is given to Nalin. Organization has given that position and responsibility to him. He has handled that responsibility in a capable manner. National president of BJP J P Nadda has appreciated the working style of the state BJP president.

“BJP is a successful party in Karnataka due to the leadership of Nalin. We have faced several elections and have achieved victories by huge margins.

“We have called this press conference after meticulously verifying the posts on social media. Some unsatisfied souls are working behind these posts. Conspiracy is hatched to create division between BJP and Hindu organizations of Dakshina Kannada district. Through this, they want to break the fortress of BJP.

“Many questions are asked on social media. What the state president of BJP is doing? State president has risen to that position through RSS. I have worked as the district convenor of Bajrang Dal and have risen to this position. We know what the responsibility of the Bajrang Dal activists is. We know who the real workers of Bajrang Dal are and how to help them.

“We do not make propaganda about the financial assistance given to Bajrang Dal workers when they face issues, to the marriage functions at the house of Bajrang Dal members, for the education of poor students, for the hospital expenses of our members because it is our duty and responsibility. In the wake of this situation, the state president and MLAs do this kind of acts every day. There are three reasons behind this statement. Those who had posted derogatory comments against state president have praised him in the last election.

“Many people approach the state BJP president to ask positions. They ask him to give them post and responsibility. When they do not get the same, they write ill about him. Some others think that they can become MLA and MP by posting on social media. This is height of foolishness. It is foolishness to say that they will unite Hindus through social media. It is not possible. Unity of Hindus has taken place even before we were born. Many of our elders have sacrificed for it. Due to their hard work, the organization is secure.

“Hindu organization will not be created by posting on social media. It will also not break because of writing derogatory posts on social media. With the intention of breaking the society and organization, some people are doing it. We know that real activists of Hindu organizations will never write these kind of posts on social media. Real workers will never fall into such chaos.

“I request our activists not to react to when chaos is created on social media about our party or organizations. We have to manage the responsibility successfully. Though the BJP government is ruling or not, BJP is always with the workers of Hindu organizations. This is clear. There are no second thoughts on it.

“Our workers know that we, not only write Jai Ayodhya in our programme but do something about it. Today Ram Mandir is being built. Excellent work is going in Kashi Mandir. We do not say 'Gomatha Ki Jai' only for the sake of saying. But the law for protection of cows is implemented. Accordingly, laws are being brought against Love Jihad and religious conversion. BJP brings in laws systematically which has no lacunas,” he said.

Speaking on the Uppinangady violence, he said, “PFI activists have assaulted policemen. Comprehensive inquiry should take place with regards to this incident. Tomorrow, they are going to hold ‘SP chalo’ rally. Let the police department awaken. They should take precautions to prevent any untowardly incidents. The BJP has not given opportunity for untoward incidents after it came to power. Due to BJP, law and order in the district is good.”
