Those who indulge in forceful conversions should fear: C T Ravi

Chikkamagaluru, Dec 17 (IANS): BJP national General Secretary and Karnataka MLA C.T. Ravi said on Friday that those who indulge in forceful conversions should fear the anti-conversion law that is being brought in the state.

"The law will not prevent or cause trouble for those who want to voluntarily convert into other religions. The new law will ensure free and fearless practice of their respective religions. But there won't be any chance for conversions through luring, fear or business," Ravi told reporters.

He further said, "I reassure that there is no problem for those who want to get converted on their own will. The Congress does not have regard for national or community interests. Their priority is vote bank politics. If the majority community unites, they will only vouch for anti-conversion law."

Indian constitution clearly stipulates the protocols of religious right, article 24 - 27. Many Catholics, including myself are not in favor of admitting other faith population in to our faith, as It is very difficult to manage well being and living standard of newly admitted families in to Christianity. It is a real facet. Moreover, comparing to population of several other Indian faiths, It is a well known fact that Catholic Christians in India in recent decades have smaller planned families, usually two children per married couple. If we need to increase our numbers, then a family of average four children will double our population within a decade. Notable reality is that India is a overpopulated country to it's total land; many basic needs like toilets, housing, education, employment, housing, roads, transportation, drinking water, hygienic food, health amenities etc.are not yet provided by the government. India is independent and has self rule from last 74 years, elected Government need to work for illiterate, less fortunate and the poor...

Catholics who claim we are not converting people, should dust off their bible (if they have one) and try reading and understanding a few chapters. Specially read the acts of apostles and learn how the apostles suffered and for what ? A christian who does not profess what has been taught by Jesus is not a real christian. Early apostles where persecuted and killed for spreading the good word. Even today christians who profess his word are killed or humiliated. That is how it was meant to be.

CT Ravi your Hindu converts to Islam/Christian community then it is forced conversion, if Muslim/Christian converts to Hinduism then it is called Ghar Vapasi..........Superb, if you have guts raise voice against Ghar Vapasi, explain what is Ghar Vapasi, question is why you 86% scared by 2% Christian community, why lost your faith, why doesn't have confidence????, first work on grass root, what is root cause for conversion, is it rituals within community tempt to conversion, as you guys blaming Christian community offering money for conversion, please i will request you who the hell willing to spend money during this economic collapse one which gift from due to you guys, if you have money give to us we will come under Ghar Vapasi campaign, if you work on that logic then only you will maintain your 86% otherwise believe me your community guys will teach you a lesson. Do not blame us, we know what type of hypocrite you guys, for example Hosadurga Tahsildar Mr.Tippeswamy conducted survey on conversion, he revealed the fact and reported that there is no forceful conversion, why you guys not ready to digest, in return what you done shame on you, In a curious development, Hosadurga tahsildar Tippeswamy from the district has been transferred unexpectedly. He had said in his survey report that no forced conversions were taking place. To whom you waiting for in Central you have your party government, in Karnataka state because of betrayer politicians you have your party government, please go ahead implement the law, settle down this issue through judiciary ground, at least upcoming days we will reduce our burden to contribute one who not belongs to our community. I hope you understood.

This Man cannot speak clearly one simple line in English or Hindi, and he is talking rubbish.. He has no idea , that DC who approves the conversion application is a IAS and DC cannot force the applicant to withdraw the application, DC cannot ask questions why you want to convert, because there is no provission in the law to ask why you want to convert. These usless ministers do not know that, even the president of India cannot stop a conversion. The law is required if someone converts a person at a gun point. Is there a law for a goonda mob who force the victims to say JAI SHREE RAM' ????.

How many more BJP minister you want to work on conversion issue. It is a pattern. These third rate party is only interested in conversion, go-matha, go muthra, lynching, rape, 40% hafta Bitcoin cheating. These are the highlights of their achievement. May it be known that Catholic Church has some of the toughest laws for conversion. I suggest, this stupid Ravi, Santosh and the likes of them, should approach a Catholic Church for conversion and see what happens? They will have to go through a tough one year education before they can change their religion. Even after a whole year of education, they are still free not to embrace the Catholicism. Also, Catholic Church rules are very tough and you have to live by those tenets which other religious people will have a tough time to follow. However, I cannot speak about New life, Born again or Johava witness. Also, once you are a Catholic, you are banned from having multiple wives as some Hindus and Muslim's do have.

Now it is clear that, the cow catchers were jobless for almost 2 years. Now they will induct them to attack poor innocent people who attend prayers at Christian prayers groups. They will first scream Bharath maatha ki.. then Jai shree Ram and then pre-arranged Police will come and the statements will be given that we stopped forcible conversions and some arrests of pastors. The Police will get their share and the lawyers will get jobs and the magistrate will try to save himself. This is the reality.

Why are you repeating this anti conversion nonsense. When you and your stooges do it it is Ghar Wapsi and when others do it is forceful conversion. Top and bottom of it is days of Fekugiri are over and you all know it and Modi has spent nearly third of a month in UP doing all acts which are shown in the media. India is in a worst economical state ever it has been in the past. Government has no money even after selling national assets. Inflation has gone up and all essential things like gas, fuel and food prices have reached beyond common mans reach and you sit in your office and shout about anti conversion law. Get on and do it instead of blabering.

The motive behind this so called Anti Conversion Bill is now 200% confirmed to just torture the minorities and non-Hindus through this law - after witnessing the recent transfer of that honest and sincere Tahshildar by BJP for speaking the truth on conversions!!! The Constitution of India gives this Fundamental Right to every citizen to choose or follow a faith/religion of his choice, and the BJP wants to revoke this right!!! Clearly 2 consequences: 1. Torture the Minorities in the name of this Law. 2. Snatch Away the Constitutional Right from a Hindu, who wilfully wants to follow another faith/religion of his choice. Mark my words - This law will also become a flop show or a u-turn like the Farm Laws by the Govt., if it is ever passed in the Parliament. I would suggest instead of focusing and prioritising on Religions/Castes which is absolutely an individual's private matter, just focus on development of the country. Jai Hind!!!

Are you scared that you will lose elections???…….If you control people’s willful conversion and ration it as per your whims and fancies people will never vote you to whatever religion they belong for doing injustice to them and violating their right. Just as Aryan Khan was released due to fear of losing elections and fuel prices were brought down and farmers laws were repealed for fear of losing elections you will do the same for this anti conversion law and encourage people to get converted forcefully. It’s all revolves around elections for BJP.
