Kundapur: College student accuses history lecturer of sexual harassment

Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur (SP)

Kundapur, Dec 18: A girl student of the government first grade college at Shankaranarayana in the taluk has charged guest lecturer of the college for history, Vighnesh, of sexual harassment.

When online classes were being held last year, Vighnesh used to send messages to her mobile phone. Later, he also was sending messages to her WhatsApp account. However, he had stopped this habit after she warned him.

The student said that of late, the lecturer has reverted to his old ways. He often follows her when in college, and insists that she should fall in love with him and marry him.

She said she is suffering mental torture as a result and also revealed that he had posed her threat.

Shankaranarayana police are investigating.

Cynthia, prem ho jata he. Once similar incident took place in my life too. In examination hall the lady supervisor approached me and asked if I needed any help. In the mean time she told me to meet her after completing my exam. I passed in both the exams ! She also told me that she fell in love for me at first sight. Eye contact. Now please do not bash me. My personal experience convince me the facts in love & hate game🖐🙏

Haaji....i understood your situation....Your lecturer is wrong i can say. Before that, i want to clarify certain points. Some doubts for she fell in love cannot be ruled out...Doubt no. 1. .did you offer bouquet to her outside the college much Before she falling in love with you ? Doubt no. 2) did you stuck her saree to the nail of your desk where you were writing for exam ? 3) were you were looking tall and well matured than her age ?? Without green signal from your side, she wouldn't have taken this step..... Then, finally challe hannu tinisi, neevu kuwaitige hogiddaaa maraya?

I agree to Dr. Kusumas point ! May be the lecturer is unmarried and must have noticed some attraction in the stundent. Without some initial positive response he would not have taken a step ahead. Police may get the clue soon. Now a days well educated Doctors, ministers, lawyers, lecturers too active in sexology 🤣

Flavi....Lecturer's work is to teach and infill discipline in the students yaar. What getting attracted with a student whi is much much younger to him ...He can do so with his classmates or same age group. If he found something wrong with the loose behavior of the student, he should guide her, train her, make her understand the consequences instead of supporting her thinking he will get her freely....No way...its wrong...What example he has shown to other students and his colleagues in the college ?? Ho gaya na naam barbaad ? First only if he was cautious or advised her or brought to the notice of her parents/principal....ye din dekhne ko milthe the kya...Tandi dheemag se socho ji.... Who is matured ? Student ? Or he ,???

Here the lecturer had send the message saying " she should fall in love with him and marry him.". Falling in love by a girl is not as easy as it seems to be and it cannot be one sided. He could have taken proper channel by having meeting with the girls parents and proposed. After all it requires self leadership quality.

Jossey S Waterfront, here I dont believe a pinch of what girl says.I feel ,girl is young and seeing the lecturer attractive must have had a soft corner for him .Ok it is young age.As she must have given a sign and he too must have believed and taken some interest.Somewhere it must have gone wrong ,and now she files case on him.Now new fashion when girls file case of sexuell harassment ,immediately media ,Police and all people run behind this. Here should be varified everything. Why she gave her WA ,number?Private ?Such cases happen mostly in younger days of college or high school many times. One cant ask to fall love with her/Him.Either you have fall or turn off.Let her show his messages on WA.

na na before that they have to check his name ,creed and affiliation then next step as per current government, IPC codes are changing place to place, it is clearly mentioned by police commissioner that same IPC case can not book here which booked somewhere else in our own state for same crime, it changes person to person or station bail given on the sport without FIR.
