Sullia: Man fined Rs 10,000 for allowing minor son to ride two-wheeler

Sullia, Dec 19: In what should come as a warning to parents who allow underage children to drive or ride, a man has been fined Rs 10,000 for letting his teenage son ride a two-wheeler.

The taluk court here has slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on the man after it was proved that his minor son road a two-wheeler in violation of the law.

Suresh, a resident of Devachalla village of the taluk had given his two-wheeler to ride to his minor son.

Subramanya police who had seen the minor riding the two-wheeler had stopped him and filed a case.

Later, the case was taken to court where the verdict was pronounced on Friday, December 17.
