Kozhikode, Dec 21: Well-known entrepreneur and the chairman of PACE Education group better known PA College of Engineering, P A Ibrahim Haji, passed away here on Tuesday December 21. He was 78.
Ibrahim had suffered a stroke in Dubai earlier on December 11. He was then moved to Kozhikode in an air ambulance.
Born in Pallikkere in Kasargod, Ibrahim had pursued his diploma in automobile engineering in Chennai.
Ibrahim was an entrepreneur in the education, automotive, and jewellery. He had created the PACE Education Group, an educational trust which provides education from kindergarten up to higher secondary school levels in Indian and British curricula, as well as providing undergraduate and post graduate degrees in engineering and management in the United Arab Emirates and India. He was also the co-chairman and key investor of Malabar Gold.
He was bestowed with numerous awards including C H Award and Pravasi Ratna award.
