Mangaluru: Road mishap – 31-year-old biker succumbs to injuries

Mangaluru, Dec 22: A bike rider, who was injured in an accident, died on Wednesday December 22, after he failed to respond to the treatment.

The deceased is Vijesh (31) alias Viji, a resident of Kumapala Ashraya colony.

In an accident which took place on December 2, Vijesh who was on his bike, had hit the girl who was crossing the road on national highway in Kolya.

 

Vijesh and a pedestrian, Pallavi, a resident of Dwaraka Kolya, were seriously injured. They were admitted to a private hospital in Deralakatte.

Vijesh died on Wednesday afternoon after he failed to respond to the treatment. Pallavi is also in critical condition. Treatment is continued in the ICU.

    How sad.Just before xmas and New year, now parents have to hear such a bad news and mourn about their child(?)and think why it should happen to their family.I feel more people die in road accidents than being sick?Heartfelt sympathy to his family.Pray and hope the girl will survive and get well soon.May God give enough courage to bear the pain .A little less speed and bit more care on the road ,simply crossing the road without taking care is always better to lessen the pain of parents and self.

    Over speeding and careless road crossing on highways is a horrible thing that we get to see almost everywhere everyday. Unfortunately it always ends up tragically. RIP.
