Media Release

Puttur, Dec 22: In-Land’s magnificent, new project in Puttur, 'In-Land Mayura' was inaugurated on Wednesday December 22 in a grand function attended by the luminaries of this Pearl City.

The commercial building was inaugurated by A Chikkapa Naik of M/s Naik & Rai Enterprises and the residential building by Mallika Prasad Bhandary (Former MLA of Puttur) and Vidya Gowri (Vice President, CMC, Puttur) in the presence of In-Land Group chairman and managing director Siraj Ahamed and group directors Meraj Yusuf Siraj and Wahaj Yusuf Siraj and president of CREDAI-Mangaluru, Pushparaj Jain.

The inaugural function started with a dua offered by Mohammed Kamil Saqafi, Pooja performed by Giridhar Bhat and blessings by Fr Prashanth Fernandes.

Siraj Ahamed in his keynote address recalled how builders in the district in the past, had only concentrated on Mangaluru city for building apartments and modern commercial buildings. This left the people of important cities like Puttur yearning for modern homes and commercial premises with the latest amenities. Seeing this unfulfilled dream of the people of Puttur, he had decided that he would take the initiative of locating a major project in Puttur. “I have been successful in making a mark in a major metro like Bengaluru with the most modern residential and commercial buildings and I was determined that I would do the same in Puttur. Even while planning for In-Land Mayura I made a promise to myself that the project would be of the same high quality that we offer customers in Bengaluru and Mangaluru. Today, seeing how magnificently Inland Mayura has been constructed, I feel that I have definitely kept my promise. This spirit of achieving excellence in our projects is what has attracted customers to the In-Land brand and I can assure you that we will continue with the same spirit in future too.” He also said that he had set a goal to his team to complete In-Land Mayura in 2021 itself, despite the big challenges from the COVID pandemic. He was happy that his team, led by his sons Meraj Yusuf Siraj, Wahaj Yusuf Siraj and in-house engineers had fulfilled this goal.

Mallika Prasad, former MLA, in her address said that, earlier she had only heard the name and fame of Siraj Ahamed and In-Land, but now, after seeing an In-Land project with her own eyes she is stunned by the quality and dedication to detail that the company has put in. Declaring that there was no residential or commercial building in Puttur to equal In-Land Mayura, she urged the people of Puttur to take advantage of this opportunity and purchase the few available premises. They will be making a very wise decision by doing so, she added.

Vidya Gowri in her address recalled the history of the ‘Mayura theater’ that existed on the same land, which was well-loved by the people of Puttur and said that Siraj Ahamed had built a landmark project in this land now, which is going to receive equal love and affection from the people for its quality and beauty. She said that she was very happy that important builders like In-Land were assisting in the speedy development of Puttur by bringing new technologies and buildings to the city. “Siraj is an example of how big entrepreneurs should benefit all categories of people without discrimination,” she said.

Pushparaj Jain in his address said that Siraj Ahamed is a doyen of the industry and other builders had a lot to learn from him in terms of dedication to quality and workmanship. Pointing out that Siraj Ahamed always carries out his functions by invoking the customs and rituals of all religions; he said that by this he is serving as an example of peace and harmony in the region. He also said that no other builder had the courage and foresight to locate such a magnificent building away from the major centers like Bengaluru and Mangaluru.

Key contributors to the project including the architect/engineer Suresh Pai, structural engineer Anil Hegde and chief contractor Mahabala were honoured at the event.
