Thousands of souls poured out to him in hours and hours of counseling and confessions , week after week for years. Comforted in Konkani (both Goan and Mangalorean), Kannada, Hindi, Tulu, English and even Malayalam. Wrote articles, translations, took trips from Kasargod to Kochi(Chalakudy) for the konkan community at Divine. Seen many a times, he used to catch his breath, press his chest, sip some tea, some warm lime juice and then back to those long sessions of counseling, confessions, even deliverance. A different character, not many may get comfortable with. But he was committed, to serve the LORD's people. I'm amazed at how such unsung heroes, even we called weak souls according to our standards and benchmarking are used by God tremendously. He loved good Mangalorean food, a nice chat and that smile with every sentence ending with "Praise the Lord!" Fr Felix, you are unique, and while having your favorite dish this Christmas, with a sad but peaceful heart, I know you entered Heaven with the Angels rejoicing and welcoming you with shouts of Joy, & "Hallelujah, Praise the Lord!"
