Nicolas Cage to star in 'Medallion'

London, Dec 16 (IANS) Actor Nicolas Cage has been roped in to play the lead role in action thriller "Medallion" directed by Simon West.

In the film, Cage will play a former master thief who has a few hours to find his daughter who has been kidnapped and put in the back of a medallion taxi in New York City, reports contactmusic.com.

The actor is currently filming the sequel of action movie "Ghost Rider" and has a number of projects coming up next year including "Drive Angry" and "Trespass".
