Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Feb 14: The protest undertaken by Asif Apatbandhava, who is urging to close the Surathkal toll gate, has entered the seventh day. His health is deteriorated in the process.

Asif tied iron chain around his body and got himself tied to a pillar on Sunday February 13 for two hours, in order to draw the attention of local administration. Because of the intense heat, his health got deteriorated. Surathkal police personnel went to the spot and appealed him to get medical attention. However, Asif denied going for treatment.

Asif said, “I will not budge till my aim of closure of this toll gate is achieved. The deputy commissioner should receive my appeal. The concerned NHAI officials should give the picture of toll gate closure. After that only I will inform my decision.”

I think that it is better our representatives MP MLA, all must visit the place immediately and see the problem. But our PM himself not bother to meet our farmers at Delhi border, I don't think these representatives will attened. But every action will help next elections.

Asif is fighting for a noble cause, we should all support him, keep politics aside, this is real injustice to have a toll gate within the radius of 10 KM
