Mumbai: Discussion meeting for forming Vishwa Devadiga Maha Mandala held

Mumbai, Mar 28: A discussion meeting for the formation of Vishwa Devadiga Maha Mandala was held at Udupi Barkur Ekanatheshwari temple grounds on March 27.

The meeting began after prayers. Dharmapal U Devadiga former president of Devadiga Sangha, Mumbai said that a Mahamandala is necessary for the formation and strong foundation for Vishwa Devadiga Maha Mandala. He assured his cooperation in this connection.

Dr Devaraj K Mangaluru, Hiriadka Mohan Das, Janardhan Devadiga Barkur, Annayya Serigar, Janardhan Devadiga Uppunda, Raghuram Devadiga Aloor and Ganesh Devadiga Ambalapady who were on the dais shared their opinions and assured their cooperation.

Presidents, secretaries, office bearers and members of Devadiga Sanghas who arrived from across the state for the meeting and took part in it, shared their opinions and gave useful suggestions about the formation of the Maha Mandala.

A unanimous decision was taken to work for the all-round progress of the Devadiga community and to plan future projects on the basis of a report prepared within a timeframe.
